Performing Arts

CHOIR-Choir will be performing some time in the month of December. The vocalists are off to a great start and are ready to perform. There will be a variety of songs such as Christmas favorites at the next concert.

BAND-They have not come up with a name, just yet, but Maroon and Gold Day Bands is what Mr. Jones calls them. If you join the band, Mr. Jones will try to inspire you just like how he was inspired to teach band by his high school band teacher.

THEATER-Ms.Reeve’s favorite students are Tatum D, Dagny M, and Kylie K because they are always on top of it. Ms. Reeves chose to teach theater because she enjoys teaching it, and she thinks it gives students an opportunity to shine in other ways besides sports and academics. Ms. Reeves has been in 80 productions; the best play she has been in is Man of La Mancha. While she doesn't have a specific play in mind, during second semester, Miss Korthals will be doing a play. Also, the students will be performing some choreography in the play .
