BLPA-The homeschool program in D49 is a program where kids can go learn but don’t go to an actual school. I interviewed a couple of the students there, and I got some things from the teacher and students about what they like doing in this program.

One of the girls, Mayson, told me her favorite thing to do during school hours is working on work with her friends. Michaella told me that her favorite part about being a homeschooler was waking up early and always having fun. Later, William said he likes learning about the Ecosystem, Greek mythology, and Art because it inspires him the most.

After I interviewed the students, I went and asked the teacher, Ms.Kinney, some questions about the program. She said 16 different kids come on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. She likes learning about Art, Science (Energy), making solar ovens, the electronic playground, field trips, and to build wind turbines with her students. Then she mentioned, “The students only come one day a week, 16 different kids each day.”
