BLPA- Everyone loves animals here at Banning Lewis Prep, from ancient dinosaurs to magical unicorns! This week we got everyone's favorite animal. As you can see on the pie chart, exotic animals are the best animals at Banning. The exotic category is filled with animals such as elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, tigers, lions, sloths, panthers, pandas, and penguins. We also got awesome answers from our local teachers why they love their favorite animal!

Our school’s second favorite animal was a dog, man’s best friend. So we asked some dog-lovers why the dog was their favorite animal. Mr. Watson, our 8th grade Math teacher, said, “Dogs are loyal companions, playful, and loving.” Mr. Freeman, one of our middle school football coaches and substitute teacher, noted, “Dogs are man’s best friend; they are also very caring.”

We also have our teachers who love farm animals! Mrs. England, our 8th grade Social Studies teacher, reported that she loves donkeys because “they’re really cute,” and Ms. Beary, the 6th grade English teacher, acknowledged, ”I like them because they are really useful.”

We also asked our wonderful teachers why they think that a lot of people like exotic animals. Mrs. England told us, ”They are unknown and uncommon, you don’t get to see them every day.” Ms. Beary mentioned, ”They are unique, and you don’t see them everyday.”

Animals are a part of everyone’s life, and we hope we thrilled you with our results.
