Soon-to-Come Clubs

SPANISH CLUB-This year, Spanish club is putting a new twist to what they do and will unite with Unity club in order to create World Citizenship Club! It will start soon and begin meetings twice a month, every other Thursday. The meetings will be different every meeting, sometimes talking about current affairs around the world and sometimes being focused on another culture. For high school students, there will be a competition at Air Academy High School in late February 2018 for Academic World Quest for the opportunity to get a free trip to Washington D.C. on April 29, 2018! In Washington, this will be the national level for this competition.

KNOWLEDGE BOWL-The Knowledge Bowl is a group of students that will compete in many competitions and will have to answer very difficult questions throughout. For the competitions, students will have to study many different subjects such as mathematics, history, science, and more. Practice starts at 7:15am on Tuesdays and Thursdays in room 233, and there will be donuts!

DUMBLEDORE'S ARMY-This Harry Potter club started Wednesday, September 4th, and will continue every Wednesday until the end of the year. In this club, you will be reading Harry Potter books and playing many games such as Wizard Chess, Pottermore, and Harry Potter trivia. It will be for ninth graders only and will continue in the years to come. Just like the order system, there will be houses within this club that will compete for points to win a grand prize.
