The cross country team practices Mondays through Thursdays from 3:30 to 4:30 every week. These practices are lead by Coach Barrett and Coach Larson. They include: stretching, form drills, and running one to three miles each practice.
The middle school cross country team has participated in races at Peyton High School, Dirty Woman Park, BLRA, Bear Creek Park, and Fox Run Park, so far this year. At each race, the boys’ A team has taken first place. Every team member works hard and runs their best at each meet.
The team has a great fan base supporting them. There is always a big crowd, with parents and fellow students holding signs and encouraging all the runners. The cross country team is strong this year, and they have a good chance of taking first place at the state meet.
