BLPA-It’s staff versus students, and we have gotten the votes on what their favorite places to go are; now we can see the comparisons! We made a chart of their vacation spots, so we could see where everyone wants to go.
Take a look at the chart to see who has the most votes for which continent they would like to go to. As you can both the students and the staff would rather go on vacation somewhere in North America. Mr. Larson, our seventh grade social studies teacher said, ”Most people have already been to North America and have fond memories of those places in North America,” and Mrs. Evans, our front desk operator said, ”There is lots to do in North America.” Jayla, one of the sixth graders here at BLPA said, ”America has many beautiful parks,” and Meagan, a seventh grader said, ”We have a lot of national parks that have lots of beauty, and we have a wide variety of them.” All of these answers have given us great explanations on why people want to vacation here; it is because we can make memories at so many places on this continent.
These individuals also have specific cool places they’d want to go to all around the world, but why do they want to go there? We asked all those people that question too, and they gave us many great answers. Mrs. Evans said, ”I want to go to Florida because my sister lives there, and I also love the beach.” Mr. Larson said, ”I want to go to Moab, Utah because of their world-class mountain biking, and it is gorgeous there.” Meagan said, ”I want to go to Paris, France because I like art and fancy sweets, which Paris has,” and Jayla said, ”I want to go to Florida because I have family that lives there, and I want to spend time with them.” We all want to go to different places all around the world but, as you can see, North America won, being right outside our doorstep.
