“I don’t necessarily live by a quote, but one quote that I really like and think about is, “Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery and today is a gift. That is why it is called the present. Live life to the fullest.” ”
-Mr. Watson
“For teaching and, more specifically, my private piano lessons, I use the quote by a well known piano teacher and mentor, Frances Clark, who said,”First you teach the student, then you teach music, then you teach piano.” This gives me focus when teaching. The whole student is the most important ‘subject’ I teach. I think it can translate to different subject areas as well. “First you teach the student, then you teach English, then you teach grammar.” "
-Mr. Jones
“I do not have one specific quote I live by, but on quote that I always think about is, “Believe you can, and you’re halfway there,” by Theodore Roosevelt. I always want to do things well. Even in doubting times, I think positive and keep going.”
