ROOM 222-Math is a required class, but Mr. Green, a 7th and 8th grade teacher, is a certain type of teacher who can make his morning classes an environment of understanding and fun.

Mr. Green’s classes are interesting and educational at the same time. From the beginning, students are allowed to talk quietly while getting out their notebooks and writing utensils, and from there, a warm up with review questions is put up on the screen. After everyone has completed the warm up, the answers are gone over, and students may ask questions about anything they don’t understand. The lessons are taught in an understandable format, with plenty of examples. From there, the lesson is taught and gone over, and the homework is passed out.

There is usually enough time to complete the homework in class and maybe do a Tenmarks assignment, if one was sent out. Occasionally, extra credit will be passed out to those who want it. If you complete all of the assignments passed out (not including extra credit), then you get free time for the remainder of class. Also, unlike many teachers, Mr. Green will help students with questions they have, but won’t give the answer. This type of teaching allows for growth and improvement in Mr. Green’s classroom. The lessons are taught in an understandable format, with plenty of examples.
