BLPA-On Friday, November 1, 2017, I had the pleasure of videotaping our fine principal, Mr. Monson, although the video proved to be too large to upload to WIX. The subject of his message was the Social Contract for students. Mr. Monson explained that the Social Contract for students was created so that students would have a better understanding of expectations from teachers and principals. The Social Contract for students includes expectations like teamwork, integrity, maturity, and hard work. Mr. Monson also explained that there is a Social Contract for teachers as well, and it also lays out expectations for teachers such as teamwork, respect, and hard work. The Social Contract gives clear expectations, so that there is no confusion on what everyone should be doing.
