What is your biggest mess-up in the kitchen?

BLPA-In America, approximately $66 billion worth of food is thrown away yearly. American families throw away approximately $2,200 of food per household. A lot of that waste comes from kitchen accidents.

Ms. Korthals: “Thank you for wanting to include me in the newspaper. However, I don’t think I can really answer that question. While I’m not a perfect cook, I don’t have any big mess ups for funny stories.”

Mrs. England: “When I was 11, I was allowed to stay home by myself and make a frozen pizza for the first time. I didn’t know there was a cardboard layer underneath and put it in the oven with the pizza. The result was awful. Let’s just say that the joke about burnt, cardboard-like crust was very true that day.“
