BLPA-If you are a student at BLPA and like learning about other cultures , as a student then come every other Thursday for World Citizenship Club.

The World Citizenship Club helps its members learn about history, culture, and languages through fun projects and field trips. This club also competes at a world-wide competition called World Quest.

The club has taken one field trip so far this year, a hike and trip to Little Nepal Restaurant. During the hike they pretended to be people from India. They even got to eat some Indian foods afterwards. The second adventure will be a German trip where the students learn about the German culture and will even have to speak some German. Most of the kids in the club are looking forward to the German trip.

They already have 25 people in the club. According to Mrs. Aguilar, “The kids love to learn and explore. They are a lot of fun!” The grade range for kids to join is from middle school to high school. They have an average of two to three trips a year. It is never too late to join; although, Mrs. Aguilar says that “after they order the club t-shirts it will be too late to get a club shirt.”
