All around the world, people celebrate the most popular holiday, which is Christmas. Mexican traditions of Christmas are different than the ones you might be used to. In Mexican culture, it is tradition to go to the person’s house where you will celebrate Christmas and stay there until three or four a.m.. At midnight, the presents will be opened one by one, and the little kids have to go first. By two a.m., all the presents should be opened, and everyone should be eating whatever the owner of the house made or helped make. By three or four a.m., everyone should be going to sleep or saying goodbye and leaving for home. After that, the family usually will meet a day after Christmas for a celebration meal.
