BLPA- Harry Potter and the Cursed Child was published on July 31, 2016 and is the eighth story in Harry Potter. It takes place nineteen years after the last story from the perspective of the children of the original main characters. It is the script version of the play written by J.K. Rowling, John Tiffany, and Jack Thorne. The play was performed in London and is coming to Broadway in 2018.
Harry is now a full grown adult, and his son, Albus, is where he was all those years ago. Harry struggles with his new ministry life, while his son struggles with the weight of his father’s legacy. They both have to work together to solve the problem when Albus and his best friend, Scorpius Malfoy, get a hold off a time turner and try to change the past.
The book features clever character development and a cool new perspective on the universe and time travel. However, the book also seemed cliche and had several plot holes.
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a good book for readers and Harry Potter fans.
