BLPA- Valentine's Day is approaching quickly! Need an idea, but don’t have much money? Have no fear! Not only is this a fairly cheap project, but it isn’t very difficult to do. And it can be used anytime of the year!
What you will need:
-A fake rose (Any color will do; White will be easier for multiple colors)
-Sharpies (Any color your heart desires)
-Rubbing alcohol
-Spray Bottle
-Paper or gloves (The color from the Sharpies will bleed through the petals. Gloves are the preferred method)
-Paper towels
Directions:
1.) Put on your gloves, or put your paper under a petal.
2.)Grab your Sharpie(s) and start coloring on the petal. If you make a mistake, don’t fret over it. The rubbing alcohol will cover it up.
3.)Color all the petals.
4.)Place your colored rose over an empty sink. Spray the rose with rubbing alcohol until the Sharpie begins to drip down the rose.
5.)Once the colors start dripping, stop squirting the rubbing alcohol. Taking a paper towel, gently dab the rose to get off excess rubbing alcohol and colors.
6.) Place a paper towel on a flat surface, and place the rose on the paper towel.
7.)Let the rose completely dry for an hour.
8.)Voila! Now you have a gift for a friend or significant other!
