BLPA- Dungeons and Dragons, more commonly known as DnD, is a high school club run by Gannon L. and Michael B. that takes place during study hall on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday every week. Dungeons and Dragons is an interactive role-playing strategy game, in which you create a character and go on quests with other players. Mr. Eisenman was kind enough to allow this group to come in during study hall to play.
The group is divided into two groups with their DM’s, or Dungeon Masters, Michael and Gannon. Michael’s group has seven members, Ryleigh K., Kadynn M., Kylie K., Jaron M., Colton W., Alex A., Brandin W., and Katelyn S. The other group, Gannon’s group, are familiar with the game, having played it before. This group includes Daniel V., Gage M., Elvis R., Noah L., and Andrew A.

When asked why Gannon started DnD in our school, he responded, “Well I originally started the DnD group all the way back in the beginning of summer last year, and the purpose of that was to get people to actually come together in the summer and see each other at least once a week. That kind of ideal transferred into the school DnD to connect people who did not share the same lunch or the same house or never even saw each other at all because of the school schedules. It also is supposed to give the players freedom, and let them act out there character and have fun at the same time. It's also supposed to be inspiring teamwork.”
Even if you are unable to join this year due to not being a high schooler, look forward to the future when you will. You might have a lot of fun.
