It's a Pizza Toast

BLPA- Let’s face it: most of us are fans of pizza. However, making a pizza on your own is not exactly easy for a kid to make as an after school snack or a quick dinner. Thankfully, there’s an easier solution, pizza toast. It may sound a bit cheesy, but a fast and easy dinner is something I could toast to.

You will need:

  • 6 slices of soft bread

  • 6 tablespoons of prepared pizza sauce

  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1 (5 ounce) package mini pepperonis

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F. (Get help from an adult if you need it.)

  2. Spray a baking sheet with some non-stick cooking spray, and space your bread slices out on the sheet evenly. Bake your bread for about five minutes or until it’s just starting to toast.

  3. Remove your toast from the oven using an oven mitt, and allow it to cool before spreading each slice with some pizza sauce.

  4. Sprinkle your toast with mozzarella cheese, and place your pepperonis as generously as you please.

  5. Place your baking sheet back in the oven for about 8-10 minutes (or until your cheese is melted).

  6. Remove your pizza toast with an oven mitt, allow it to cool, and enjoy!
