In many of the cities across the country, there are NBA teams beginning their deals with others. On Thursday, February 8th, many NBA teams started to finalize their deals with one another. Many trades have happened before the deadline, sending basketball superstars from one team to another. The deadline is one of the most talked about events in the NBA as many of people’s favorite players can see themselves on a different team. It has caused tensions between teams that have affected team’s records. Many basketball stars are on the trade-block, and it can hurt their performances as their teams attempt to work many deals. It would seem easy to trade one player for another, but there are many things that teams take into consideration. As the NBA is treated like a job, players get paid, so teams need to look to their salary. Of course, teams need to agree with the amount of money and skill set of the player. Many trades have already happened between teams from the end of last season to the start of this one, but this time is when it’s most talked about. Teams are about to start making the playoff push, and the trade deadline begins that part of the season.
