BLPA-The dance, on February 2nd, was a fun experience for the sixth and seventh graders. It was awkward, fun, and embarrassing for some. There were some great songs played during the dance. Many people were dancing and having a great time. Turns out that the cheerleaders did something called the ‘Bows before Bros’, where the cheerleaders went with each other, and not their boyfriends. This was uniquely interesting because I have never heard anything like it. It was also interesting because that is the one thing people don’t usually do.
“It was super fun! There were some boy-girl dances! All the teachers danced to the Electric Slide and Cupid Shuffle. The time went really fast and before you knew it, bang! The time was up,” says Mrs. Dehoyos, the sixth grade Science teacher.
There were many delicious treats to eat, and everyone was excited to attend. The decorations looked great and were surprising in some ways, but mostly subtle. There were lots of friends there and people waiting for dates to show up. Thanks to all the staff and student board who helped make this possible for everyone who was interested.
