Middle School Girls End Their Season Strong

BLPA- On Monday, February 12, 2018, the middle school girls’ basketball team played their last game against Atlas Preparatory School. Finishing off the season strong, both teams played hard and worked well together.
Before the games, Amaya B. (6th grade, B-team player) said, “This has been a very long season, but I am confident that our team will win.” During the B-team game, the Stallions were in the lead for most of the first half, but after the first half, the Atlas Prep. Gryphons started to catch up. The second half of the game was a bit tougher for them, but in the end they won 30-13. “We weren’t gonna let those Gryphons win,” said Riley G. Riley and Kaylee G. scored almost half of the points for their team.
The A-team played an intense game, as well, and were in the lead the entire time. They took many chances and made most of their shots. They won 25-18. Both teams worked hard, played hard, and in the end they won and made our school proud.
