At Kennedy Space Center, on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, SpaceX launched their “Heavy Falcon” rocket. The launch on Tuesday was only supposed to be a test launch; SpaceX did not expect the rocket to make it into orbit. The employees of SpaceX and the viewers were expecting the rocket to blow up while in launch.
Two of the three rockets on the Heavy Falcon were self-landing, and the other rocket didn't make its landing. The Heavy Falcon had 27 Merlin engines, and it was 230 feet in height.
This is one of the few rockets that is not funded by the government. Elon Musk, the owner of the company that created the rocket, was willing to take the chance of sending his rocket up into space.
This rocket shows the world that someday we might be able to take vacations in space. This shows that dedication can help you achieve anything.
