Riverdale Characters Review

Riverdale is the most popular show on TV right now, and so are the characters. It is a stunning, cryptic, fantabulous, thrilling, dramatic world appealing to ages 11-16. The main characters of the TV show Riverdale are Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge, Jughead Jones, and the most important character Archie Andrews. Riverdale is based off of the Archie Comics created by author Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa.

Betty Cooper is the daughter of Alice Cooper and Hal Cooper. Betty is also a younger sister to Polly Cooper and her long lost brother, Charles Smith, also known as Chic. Betty is (as they refer to her as in the show) the perfect girl next door. Though Betty loves Archi,e he claims, “You are too perfect for me” (Season 1 Episode 1), which breaks her heart. Betty then falls for Jughead Jones later into the show.

Veronica Lodge is daughter to Hermione Lodge and the criminal Hiram Lodge. Veronica may seem rich and spoiled for a new girl, but don't let the jewels fool you. She is actually quite a sweetheart. Veronica attempts to help Archie and Betty fall for each other but ends up falling for Archie herself.

Jughead Jones is son to FP Jones and his mom (who’s name has not yet been revealed), his sister’s real name is Forsythia but likes to go by "Jellybean." Jug is extremely nerdy, shy, reticent, ludicrous, and affectionate. He cares very much about Betty and would give his life for her.

Archie Andrews, is the very mysterious, loving son to Fred Andrews and Molly Ringwald. Archie is an only child, but yet he is the perfect brother figure. Season two of Riverdale is coming out soon, will you be watching?
