Fruits provide healthy sugars for human bodies, but these five fruits-- carambola, kumquats, mangosteens, soursop, and persimmon-- do way more than that.

Carambola is also known as a star fruit because of its unique shape, and it tastes sweet and juicy. Because of the abundance of Vitamin C in the fruit they can help prevent illnesses like the flu or colds.

Kumquats are little orange like fruits that strengthen your immune system and bones, reduce your chance of developing diabetes, and regulate digestion. The skins are just as healthy as the actual fruit inside, and they are sour then sweet.

Mangosteens are a great source of essential nutrients like calcium, iron, potassium, and several different vitamins. The mangosteen helps reduce the risk of cancer, boost the immune system, and maintain healthy skin.

The soursop is a fruit that can relieve pain, treat certain types of cancer, and heal the skin. Vitamin C, Vitamin B, and several antioxidants are in this fruit which help the immune system become stronger.

Persimmon fruits are native to China, but they have spread all over the world over a few hundred years. These fruits help eye health, increase metabolism, reduce signs of aging, and lower cholesterol.

These fruits are a good source of nutrients, they are healthy, and they help prevent bad illnesses.
