Teachers Now Using Pear Deck More Often

BLPA-Many people have been noticing the new website, Pear Deck, that has created an easier way for students to be more interactive in lessons. From Social Studies to Language Arts, Pear Deck is a tool many teachers believe in and use throughout classes. Recently, Mr. Porterfield (a sixth grade social studies teacher) and Ms. Beary (a sixth grade language arts teacher) shared their thoughts about the tool. “Pear Deck is a good classroom tool because every student gets to be engaged and give the answers that they think are true; as well as it automatically saves into their Google Drive for later, which is very awesome,” said Mr. Porterfield. When asked the question, ‘Would you recommend Pear Deck to another teacher?’ Ms. Beary gave an answer of, “I would.” When asked the same, question Mr. Porterfield answered, “Absolutely, it is a wonderful tool. Every teacher should use it.” Many teachers think that Pear Deck is a helpful tool, and that it allows students to be more interactive with class lessons.
