FORT CARSON-A fire recently struck the Fort Carson area. This fire caused a lot of damage, burning multiple homes. It also caused 3,300 acres of land to burn. This fire started started on March 4th because of a training exercise. Strong amounts of wind did not help this ordeal. Officials say that 80 percent of the fire is under control now.

This fire caused a lot of disturbance in the area. Two hundred and fifty homes were evacuated. People are now starting to move back into their homes. In the end I'm sure people are glad this fire is almost done with.
