Coming Up: Colorado Springs Comic Con

COLORADO SPRINGS-This coming August, Comic Con is coming to Colorado Springs. Comic Con is a fantastic and thrilling event for all geeks. Actors from movies and shows like Harry Potter, The Walking Dead, Lord of the Rings, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and many more will be there. There will also be many comic book artists and other artists there and you can buy prints from your favorite animes, shows, and movies. You can go to panels and photo ops and meet your favorite stars.

My personal favorite part of Comic Con is the cosplay contest. Anyone can enter, as long as they make at least 50% of their costume themselves and follow Comic Con policies. Everyone is in costume, and you can walk up to pretty much anyone and take a picture together. It’s like a massive family.

Tickets start at $75 for all three days for adults and $30 for kids 6-12. It is one of the most exciting events of the year and it’s coming to our very own town. For more information, you can visit www.cscomiccon.com.
