15 Dead in a Bus Accident

CANADA-On April 7, 2018, a bus with a Canadian junior hockey team on it crashed in western Saskatchewan. The junior hockey team’s name is the Humboldt Broncos. The team consists of players sixteen to twenty years old. The bus was taking the team to a playoff game in Nipawin, a town in Saskatchewan, Canada. While traveling to Nipawin, the teams’ bus was hit by a semi-trailer. The accident killed fifteen people and injuring fourteen others. The head coach, team captain, and radio announcer were also killed in the crash. The bus and the semi-trailer were left obliviated in the snow. Many offered their condolences to the family, including President Donald Trump. The Winnipeg Jets and the Chicago Blackhawks both wore the name “BRONCOS” on their jerseys instead of their last names on Saturday night. After the crash some people stuck hockey sticks outside their front doors in honor of the team members and coaches that died in the crash.
