The NBA playoffs kicked off on April 14th, 2018 and will last all the way to June. The playoffs are where the top NBA teams of the year square off in the best of seven rounds. It is set up in a bracket format and the first team to win four games moves on. Both teams play the teams in their own conference. The Western Conference plays each other and the Eastern Conference plays each other. The last team to make it out of each conference would square off in the NBA Finals, which is the championship game. The top seeds face the low seeds, so the first seed plays the eighth seed, and it goes from there. The playoffs show all the NBA stars facing each other, and seeing them dunk and splash threes is all the excitement. As Lebron James attempts to carry his team to finals once more, other teams in the Eastern Conference look to end his streak of eight finals appearances. The one-seeded Raptors look to make it to their first Finals, and the Celtics look to win their way to their first finals’ appearance since 2008. On the Western Conference side, the Golden State Warriors look to repeat their championship from last year, but the one-seeded Houston Rockets look to end their dreams on a repeat.
