New School

BANNING LEWIS-Have you heard of the new school being built? If so you probably don't know much about it. Over the course of a week, I have learned that it is going to be a public elementary school and it will be done summer of next year. It will teach K-5, will be next to the Prep, and will not require uniforms. It will not have uniforms because uniforms cost money and public schools are free. You may ask why does this school have uniforms? A charter school is a school funded by the states and run by the parents and school. A public school is a school supported by public funds and that is what the new school is going to be. In conclusion it is another thing to look forward to in the future of Banning Lewis.
