COLORADO SPRINGS-We all experience those boring Saturdays when we can’t figure out what to do, and we are on a budget. Luckily, there are fun things to do that cost little to no money. First off you can always go to hiking; t’s free and a fun way to get your exercise in. One of the most popular hiking spots in Colorado Springs is the Incline. Other options are Palmer Park, Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, Cheyenne Mountain, and Seven Bridges Trail. If you want to find out some history about Colorado, then visit some of our museums. They are fun to explore and admission is less than 5 dollars. You can go to Penrose Heritage Museum, Dr. Lester L. Williams Fire Museum, Peterson Air & Space Museum, Pioneers Museum, the Olympic Training Center, or the Money Museum. More places to visit are the Glen Eyrie castle, Focus on the Family, and the Chapel Hills Mall. So instead of spending your weekend at home with nothing to do visit these fun, free places.
