A Race to the Finish

BLPA-Saturday, May 12th, the BLPA middle school track team had their League meet. The Stallions worked their hardest and improved very much from the first meet. Both of the 4x400 meter relay teams got first place. The first time that Suhani A., Hannah C., Emelia F., and Madison C., ran the 4x400m relay together, they ran it in 5:05. At the championship meet, they ran the relay in 4:53.44, dropping thirteen seconds from their original time! The boys relay team, including Avery W., Austin S., Erik L., and Jacob J., ran their relay in 4:00.67. Erik L. also got 1st place in both the 1600m and the 800m run. At the end of the meet, the girls secured 5th place with 52.50 points. The boys got 5th with 57 points.
