Marvel Superior and DC Regrettable?

DC and Marvel both create comics and movies about superheroes. But which one is better? This article is about how Marvel obviously is better than DC, and there are a few reasons why.

If you compare Marvel teamwork and DC teamwork, Marvel reins supreme. In the MCU, Marvel has created more teams, and even combined major superhero groups, like the Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers in Infinity War. If you compare DC’s Justice League to Avengers, Justice League is pretty sad, even just looking at the CGI alone.

Marvel heroes may not always agree with each other, but this can make them seem more human than always agreeing. Not to mention, when Marvel superheroes have a problem, they fix it in a human way. Not like in Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, where they get in a disagreement over the stupidest reason, and make up because their mothers have the same name and they both have capes.

DC may have better leading female villains, but at least we don’t have villains like Condiment King, Calendar Man, Polka-Dot Man, Penny Plunderer(he only steals pennies), Egghead, and The Eraser(in other words, a human pencil). All these hilarious villains mentioned are Batman’s foes. Marvel has diverse villains, ranging from Nazi overlords to galactic world eaters. The superheroes that might seem silly in Marvel comics, for example Squirrel Girl, are more powerful and not as silly as DC fans might think. In the comics, Squirrel Girl, known as the Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, smooth talked Galactus into not eating Earth, defeats Doctor Doom, and teams up with Deadpool.

Many DC fans try to add Spiderman as an example of Marvel’s regrettable superheroes, but Spider-Man and The Amazing Spiderman were owned by SONY. Marvel couldn’t really make sure it was truly Marvel, meaning it wasn’t a part of the MCU. The only Spiderman that truly counts in the MCU is the Spiderman in Spiderman: Homecoming, which shows Peter Parker’s fresh wit and high school insecurities, as well as ties with the MCU.

All in all, Marvel beats DC in many ways, from teamwork, characters and development, and story. Marvel may have some weaknesses, but definitely not as much as DC does. Also, does it really count if the villains escape every time? No. The answer is no.
